Dear Planet Antares:
About the vending business . . .
This is
the first time I have owned my own business, and I'm learning
so much in so little time that even I cannot believe it.
I have involved my wife in this business. She is taking care
of the bookkeeping.
My
experience with customers before this vending machine business
was awful, because of my terrible English and my Spanish accent.
But this new challenge with
the vending machines has done many good things. Now, my development
with people is better, and we realize, my wife and I, that
it is because the vending machines sell themselves.
Even with my bad English, the
quality and convenience of my vending machines do the marketing
job for me.
I
placed my first three machines during the first month after
delivery. I'm still keeping my regular job, but it is my plan
to replace it later on with the vending business. It is part
of my plan to acquire more vending machines after the first
year because I'm paying for them with my profits. I guess
when I have more than 10 machines I can start thinking about
quitting my regular job - and that will probably take me 2
to 3 years. I will be around 30 years old at that time. Not
bad, eh?
I
spend an average of 3 to 4 hours a week on my machines, and
many times, less than that (when my wife helps me).
I like to manage my own time,
and now that Planet Antares Incorporated has given me that opportunity,
I won't let it go away.
I
think being the owner of a business is the only way to succeed
in this country, instead of working for someone else - to
manage my time building profits, rather than making another
guy wealthy working for him.
I thank Planet Antares Incorporated for giving me this wonderful
opportunity.
