To Whom It May Concern:

The experience of owning and operating our own vending company has been and continues to be the greatest business experience I've ever had. I LOVE IT!

Prior to starting our vending business my husband and myself both had experience in owning our own businesses, all of which had been in the service industry. So when the opportunity of starting a vending business presented itself we both saw it as a great way to utilize knowledge and experience we had while taking on an exciting new challenge. (One in which not only ourselves but also our children could play an active role in).

We initially purchased 5 Refreshment Centers in April, 1999. We currently have a total of 14 vending machines (12 Refreshment Centers and 2 snack machines) and are looking into the possibility of purchasing more snack machines.

My husband, Dave, services 2 of the locations and I service the rest. I absolutely love every aspect of this business:

• flexible hours so I can work around my kids' school and extra-curricular activities;
  
• it's an all cash business - no collecting bad debts, which is a job I had at one time;
  
• the physical activity involved with product inventory (I am in the best physical shape of my life and I love it!);
  
• the "people contact" - I have a great rapport with all of the people at my locations (and I love giving away "freebies" on occasion);
  
• the bookkeeping and record keeping part of the business (I majored in Accounting in college so that knowledge is being put to good use also);
  
• and finally, the ease and operation of the mechanics of the Refreshment Centers and snack machines. I am not very mechanically inclined so the ease in fixing any operational problem that may occur is an exceptional plus for me!

In closing, I'd like to sum up the question "How has vending changed my life?" with this simple statement: My life is much better, fuller and definitely more challenging and exciting since we started our vending business. In fact, because of the zest and excitement I express about our business, I was recently approached by someone seriously considering starting their own vending business. The thing that roused their interest the most was the fact that I always looked like I was having fun and that's because I am . . . I LOVE THIS BUSINESS!!
