A Thought
The Internet has quickly become a fact of American life. It’s no longer for computer nerds; this past holiday season saw 10 billion dollars being spent
on Internet shopping. Most major companies have “a Net presence”. Should you?
Before you can use the Internet, you obviously must have a computer. Amazingly powerful machines can be found for less than $1000 that will allow you to access the Internet and use email. Email simply means writing a letter and pushing a button. Pretty simple, huh? It takes only a matter of seconds instead of waiting days for the mailman, and that’s its attraction. Best of all, it’s free! Distributors are finding that many locations prefer contacting them using email; you can actually know they’re out of an item within minutes of the last vend, so you can stock up! Unless you have a larger business, it’s not really essential that you have a website of your own. If you do have a website and give out your web address, be sure to keep personal and family information off the site; it should be for business only and should be designed as seriously as your business card
